With the beautiful weather today, I got out and did some work on the railway. I removed the rock water fall fountain as the bottom is cracked from freeze damage last fall. That was my fault for not getting it drained and out of the layout in time. I have tried to seal it from the outside to no avail. So I got some liquid rubber sealer and poured it inside the base, its now curing in my garage for a couple days before we can try again. I added more mulch and will finish the mulch in the middle once the waterfall is back in place. Fresh ballest also was laid, most of the old was gone fro when I reworked the track plan and added the new turnouts for the future expansion loop. Will be running my live steam Aster/LGB Frank S later this evening. Mike the Aspie
