Wow, interesting replies. The cat's eyes actually begin to close as the train reverses seemingly not worried.

Some of you guys need to lighten up. If the cat didn’t like this, it would move out of the way. 
I suspect that the video has been "speeded up" and the actual impact was quite gentle.
Dave got it right - the loco was actually moving much slower and it looks like HO, so not much impact! :-)
could be worse, it could of been a rotary snow plow. ;-)

May need to check the wiring to the "cat" bumper, it's eyes are not lighting up.
Good thing this isn't 1:1. It could have been CATastrophic.
