I'm considering breaking my layout into power districts. It is 20x10 consisting of three loops, one a long folded over one. Currently, I have power feeds from the tiu into each corner of each loop using only one handle of my Z4000. There are no blocks, everything is contiguous including a large yard and two small ones. I usually run 5 RK steam engines. My question is if I split each loop into two blocks and use both handles of the Z4000 and the other fixed output channel ,besides gaping the center rail does the common rail need to be gapped too. I use gargraves track and Ross switches. Thanks for any input
