Greetings Everyone,
Well, the bad news is that it seems that the battery wasn't the problem. After charging the battery overnight with an external charger, I put the engine on the layout and BAM! "Check Track" "No Engine Found" displayed on the remote. I deleted the engine, went through the remote and "Found" the engine, ran the engine around the layout and finally did a "Factory Reset" which deleted the engine again. I turned off the power, waited for about 60 seconds and turned the power back on. Using the remote I Re-Entered the engine, ran it around the layout and shut it down using the remote. Again, I turned the power off for about 60 seconds, turned the power back on and when I tried to start up the engine I got the dreaded, "Check Track" "No Engine Found" message again! I guess it's time to take it to see the PS2 Doctor?
