Hi,

I’m getting back to running some trains after a couple years of life distractions.  I have a Lionel Century II Sharknose A-A set.  I am using a CAB-1 with a PowerHouse and a TPC 3000.  In theory the Sharknose A-A came pre-programmed for a lash-up.  However, the speed difference between the two A units is significant.  I have set the momentum to L on both units individually and as a lash-up.  I did the same with stall and maximum speed, (individually and as a lash-up).  Still no luck.  They run great independently but the speed differential remains.  Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Ken

You said you set the stall as a lashup.  That would be my first step.  Maybe one unit needs more break in time?  Those are pullmor powered aren't they?  Maybe clean the old grease off the axles, open them up and oil and lube the units where recommended in the manual, including the pullmor, and them run them hard for a bit.  Good luck.  Those should be fun to run.
