Being a vendor at the TCA Meet @ York, PA takes a lot of work  and involves a great deal of hope.

I hope that Andre, "River Leaf Models, LLC," does really well at this upcoming Meet. He deserves to do well because he is a hard worker, creative, a good guy, and his kits are excellent. I will be eager to hear afterward that he has done exceptionally well. Perhaps, many of you join me in that outlook?

Is there anybody else you wish, in particular, the best for at this coming meet? May I encourage you to post those well-wishes here.

FrankM.

P.S. And, Andre, if you see this posting of mine, may I suggest you post, here, exactly where we can find you at the Meet - which hall; row; table/booth?

Ogre Modeling will once again be displaying our O gauge bendable led pan style lighting within the Scenic Expess Booth HH Orange Hall.  I will be there from Weds-Fri Am, but I will be leaving just before noon to drive to Greenville, SC for my grandson's First Holy Communion.  I will miss the Friday afternoon Forum meeting this year.  I hope you stop to see us at the booth before my wife and I leave.  The product will be available throughout the show.  Happy Yorking to all!

My brother and I are going to sell, and look, after many years. I do recall the AOL BBQ, the auction on Friday nights, my brother having a new cell phone and it being truly novel, the early TCA-list breakfasts before the Friday opening of the halls with Ron Morris and Clem's pre-primer days, and Chip Miller ("cuz"). I suspect that dates me a bit. I saw my first digital camera at York too. He and I ( our wives ) have decided we have TOO much stuff; our wives are hoping you all will help us out. I look at the new catalogs and am quite surprised at the retail price of trains. I look forward to seeing everyone. We'll be in silver hall H 17 -20. In all honesty I am looking forward most to the Maple Donuts.

Frank,

I talked to Andre in October, and he did well then. Like you, I wish him well at the up coming meet. I will be stopping by to see the model he made of a Jersey Central switchman's shanty from the prototype I am restoring. I won't be selling this time around, (sales were poor last few times, so I'm taking a break), and will only be there on Friday afternoon, heading home after dinner Friday evening.

I met several members of different forums in October, and wish them all successful sales: Mr Muffin's Trains, Hennings Trains, Bridge Boss, Angela Trotta Thomas, fellow northeastern Pennsylvanian, Jack Rash of RPO Trains, who so graciously allows me space on one of his tables, and all my friends with tables in the various halls.

IMO, that's the spirit!  Remembering that forum-friends we have made can also be some of the good, hard-working fellows manning the tables and booths @ York is a stand-up, positive, and proper thing to do. A vibrant hobby is about all of us. And offering recommendations and reminders of whom we should give special notice is something I am recommending with this thread. Some folks do merit special notice.

I suggest that the very success and existence of OGR magazine and forum testifies to that concept, helping keep us connected, aware of good and valuable resources, and giving attention to fellow hobbyists who have accomplished layouts and businesses we can enjoy celebrating??

Yes, indeed, Rail/Don, IMO, you have the right spirit!

Thank you for the positive input, sir.

Yes, ...Frank Mullen. A good friend and master builder, York is not complete for me unless I have my semi annual chat with such an amiable and erudite fellow. Did I get that right, Frank? You said $20 off if I used the right words, yes?

Scrappy

I'm thinking of charging you more.

Frank!

Thank you for the wishes!

I will be at WW-4 (you know well the spot)

Same for the rest of vendors! and safe drive to visitors!

See you in few more days!!

Andre.

That is an ideal spot, Andre, with plenty of light and foot traffic. Of course, plenty of rain can reach the spot, too, so you'll want to plan for that possibility, as I mentioned to you previously.

Be well, safe, and successful.
