Fabulous photos everyone!! I'm extremely late to the party this weekend due attending York Friday and Saturday and I'm sorry to say I do not have any photos.
Originally I was on the fence about attending York this past week and IF I did I was going to only attend Saturday, since I live 90 minutes away. After finishing up work early Friday afternoon, which also signaled the completion ( temporarily ) of a long stretch of 12 - 15 hour days, I decided on a whim to book a hotel room and head to York. I got in about 3 p.m., turned off my cell phone ( forgetting I even had one ) so that I could enjoy the York time without interruption.... and enjoy I did!. Since Melgar already seconded Riches suggestion that all of us regular SWSAT crew should attend York and meet for breakfast.... I will offer my voice in support of Rich's idea! What a huge thrill it would be for me to meet you guys in person!! WOW!!
Although I didn't purchase any locomotives, I did purchase a few MTH Premier freight cars for switchers to push/pull around. I will be featuring one of those cars in an upcoming edition of SWSAT. I also purchased some custom buildings, die cast vehicles, figurines, loads, and scenery items. I had a great time talking with folks and just hanging out in that model train " love fest"!
Great news too regarding the new MTH releases of switcher! I very well may have to purchase Ma & Pa 81. It's already on my switch ( wish ) list!
Here are some repeats since I've not had time to photograph anything new this week. The first photo is from the MTH mobile layout which was at the Baltimore Railroad Museum. Have a great week everyone!!
