Gentlemen
I have a customer who bought a tmcc cab 1, he claims that the engine worked on a friends layout and system, he took it home to his new cab1 and he can use it conventional but not command. He says that when he hits the engine button that the remote stops working?
I know that this is not a lot to work with, but its all I got . Any advice will be a help

Thanks... this is not a command base... its the powermaster ... silly mistake
There is a switch on the side of the powermaster, it controls either conventional or command mode of operation.

"ENG" will cause this problem - "TR" is what he wants with the PM-1... is this what solved the issue?
If he only has a power master he is not operating in command per say. He is remotely controlling track voltage via the PM. The remote won't control couplers or crewtalk, etc...
He needs a command base to for engine control. PM just controls track voltage and allows direction, throttle, bell whistle and brake accel, emergency stop. Nothing else. G
