Variable voltage problem

That channel must be set to start at full voltage.  Do you have a lighted lock on on the track.  You can change it so that it Starts at 0 volts.  G

Try setting the channel to var mode with Menu/System/ DCS set up/ Select the var channel  and  hit  FXD. This will move the channel from fixed mode to var mode , (the remote will tell you what mode you've selected)

THE fxd is like a toggle switch...  with each press it changes the channel from fixed to     Var mode.  You should only have to do this once. The tiu should remember the setting.

I am not using a lockon, as I'm using fastrack directly wired.  In which menu can you set a variable channel to start at full voltage?  I know you can set a variable channel to be fixed, but I don't have that option set up (at least I don't think I do.

Gregg - that did the trick.   I thought there was a way to do that, but I couldn't find the menu option. Thanks for the assist!

If I remember correctly the menu/System DCS setup/ isn't mentioned in some of the manuals. A lot of stuff is under DCS set up.. You're most welcome.

Actually, it's in the DCS instruction manual, page 74, and of course in Barry's book in more detail.
