Rich, frequently YouTube won't allow you to view full screen from the embed. That can only be done from YouTube directly. There is an advantage to having the URL.

From about 2:08 till the end, it's 90% trains from 1958 until about 1963.

Before 2:08 there are glimpses of a Marx Monon set circa 1955.

The NH set that is seen around 2:56 still looks, and runs as well as when it was new. It is a testament not only to what a great product Lionel made, but also to what a great kid Peter was. How many of us ended up totally destroying our childhood toys?

He did, and does cherish that train. It is a real pleasure to see it run on our club layout!

This is true when I try to view on an iPad, Rich.  But as you probably know the small screen viewing is generally adequate, with some exceptions.

Thank you, having these young friends over and seeing them enjoy the running of trains was great fun for me, when we have friends over to play trains I much prefer to stand back and see the fun they are having rather than running trains myself. The only thing I regret was when one train rear-ended another and I did not take a video of the results, it was spectacular, the rear-ending train looked like an accordion. I was too concerned with getting the trains back on the tracks so the boys could continue to play.

TEDW, I am not very familiar with the operation of the switches on three rail trains, was the changing of the routes on the first video done by programing in some way, looked like great fun.

Running my live steam LGB/Aster Frank S on Easter Morning, by 11pm that night my layout was buried under 7 inches of snow.

The Santa Fe Railroad's star passenger train, the Super Chief, makes its way across the countryside as it works its way towards Chicago. This crack streamliner, made up of postwar Lionel aluminum passenger cars, is headed by a pair of "black bonnet" Santa Fe F3 A-units, also by Lionel. Music is "Along the Santa Fe Trail" by Glenn Miller and the Army Air Force Band.

Here's one from me a 61-year old kid!  Annie, the dog likes it too, as you will hear!

First I copy the URL you provided:

I then click the little icon on top that looks like an single frame from a filmstrip. It says "Insert/edit media" when you hold your pointer over it...

In the resulting box that says "Source", paste the URL and click "OK".

The result is below:

"The more you know..."

Also, while it's true some embeds do not allow you to fullscreen, you can click the "YouTube" logo and be taken to the same video on YouTube itself (of if you're on mobile, the YouTube app), where you can fullscreen.

I just bought this GP 9 from Mautner here on the OGR.  He did a fantastic job with the painting and weathering.  I am enjoying running this engine very much!
