Hi guys, Happy New Year!!!!! Just received my Christmas present from FedEx yesterday. I found a NOS (new old stock) Aristo-craft G scale 2-8-8-2 Mallet on ebay for a pretty good price. So, I pulled trigger and bought it. It is lettered for ATSF but I am going to reletter it for B&O. I am also going to remove the trailing truck and make it a 2-8-8-0 as these are what B&O ran. They only had 16 2-8-8-2's which they also removed the trailing trucks from. It came with the long tender but I just happened to have a Vandy tender which I intend to run with it. After I charge my camera I'll post some pics. Just for you non-G scalers this engine with tender is about 4 feet long.
