Shot these photos on my i-Phone while restaging the railroad for the 2016 NMRA Dupage Division layout tours. Had a wonderful afternoon, with a nice bunch of folks coming by to see the railroad. I even reconnected with a high school friend that I lost track of, and used to model with during high school.
Train #4, the Salmon River, leaving Worley ID on its way to Spokane WA.
A little further west going by West Worley tower.
Further west heading for Tunnel #4, which is the last tunnel on the way to Spokane. From here to Spokane, the terrain flattens out, and gets more dry and arid.
Next year, I'm going to take a pass on showing my railroad, and we are going to have my friend Al's railroad ready to show. His railroad is the Northern Illinois, and he is modeling steel mill operations in the late 1950s. Here is a show of one area of the layout from a couple of months ago when we were working on the upper yard and car shops. Almost to the point of being ready to scenic this area, and then install the coking plant in front of it on a lower level.
