Painting away all day at my house.

Gonna convert to AML body mount couplers.  Looking at 1:29 wheelsets.  Need to order some decals.  

I decided to try and weather one of my engines. I used Doc O'Briens weathering powders for this and I think it came out pretty good.

My big subwoofer kit is back down in the basement with the crappy 8x8 with just track still on it after 2 years.

I ordered a N scale subwoofer kit for the living room layout. 

Now to sand and paint the wood base. Trace the track on the base and wait for my order from Scenic Express to arrive, my extra pieces of code 83 track from MB Klein to arrive.

Dry test fit of track pieces that I have. Already see a problem brewing.

This side looks ok, but I might have to tweek the sections of track to make it flow better. I can't do that till the order from Scenic Express comes.

Looks promising...

Going to run my UP 1943 a lot this weekend with a tank train. This time next year, my Athearn NS 6920 will be joining her with a train full of tanks!

A little Pre Holiday Parade train running today.

I fixed the problem on the left side, added some small straight sections in different places.

I realigned the center that will be under the wooden trestle.

I readjusted the track on the right side to flow better.

Going to try to place these two buildings here.

Going to try and fit these buildings here.

Still need a home for this building.

Then this box of buildings too.

I am open to suggestions on building placement. I am still waiting on the rest of the track, foam risers, wooden trestle sets to complete the track.
