The only thing I did was make some paper dolls out of the culvert photographs Bob and Paul shared. See what you think.

I finished assembling, painting and installing all the extra details for my garage tonight. PITA, since I had to do it all through the open bay doors.
OMG. Too cool by far, CSX AL !!!!!!!!!!! Lots of fun to see.

Al, the Station looks great! Good work.

Bob, what I initially had in mind was something like the box culvert Paul found, but only one box not two. I definitely like the two better than one. However, I am leaning towards the one you found also. It really has some character! It all shows to go you, look at the prototype. You will find examples that are better than what you can imagine. Sort of like “ the truth is stranger than fiction “.
Al, the pains were certainly worth it, in my opinion! That garage looks great! It brings back lots of memories too!
Mark- yes if you want to imitate real life go look at it.
CSX Al- Beautiful detailing. Kind of like building a ship in a bottle.

Step 1) Empty the bottle.
CSX AK: What a beautiful job on that service station interior! That really looks amazing. You have inspired me to take a closer look at my brass, Weaver, corner gas station. I did put some details in and around it, including a 1950 Studebaker on the rack, but I'm gonna figure out how to get a door open, put a floor down and even add a few more details. Thanx for posting the photos.
Paul Fischer
Mark, in your last post I agree with Bob's pic. You can model a great scene around it.......Paul

You know Bob, that looks like a winner!

WOW that is so cool! I have a Menards gas station that I plan on opening up. Already have some oil cans, car engines, and some diesel engines in O scale to go in and or around it. Seeing your garage is a true inspiration!

Al, you sure have set the bar high on this one! Looks just GREAT! May I ask where you found all the scale size stuff to put in it?

Gene, Yes all three photographs need to be enlarged. I just printed them off as they came late last night. Thank you for voting!

Mike, Thank you. I got all the details from Valley Model Trains. A great source for a lot of details parts and craftsman stuff. I am done with the station with this final parting shot. It definitely had to go on the wall.

Brian, nice engines! Just wondering if you have ever took inventory of your engines and rolling stock?

As someone who used to write procedures for a major Insurance Company, I see an obvious flaw in these instructions... by the time you complete Step 1, you most likely won't be able to remember (much less be able to accomplish) Step 2
Okay, I am trying to keep tabs on this.
