I see the option to start not only topic but also resource. When and how should this be used? What happens to the content you put in? Where does it go? How does someone find it? The reason I am asking is the current topic on O Scale Figures seems like a resource to me?

Hi Jim, The Forum is a good resource for needed information. If you have a subject you want to get some help with, enter the topic in the search block here and you will get most posts stored on that subject. Last week I had an issue with some new MTH gates I purchased. When tested, they didn't work right out of the package. When I asked for help, I received a number of posts on that subject. I was a able to use that information to decide my next option. I hope this answers your question. Bill
I have to admit that in all the years I've been involved in moderation and tech support for this forum, I have never used the "Resource" option. I don't know what it does, how to use it, or where it is displayed.
I'll try to find out.

Well at least I am in "good company".
Please let me know what you find out. Thanks!
Here's my answer from Rosemary ONeill at Crowdstack:
A "Resource" is what we used to call "Clips." So it's any type of file or media (you can upload it and give it a description, comment on it, organize it into 'sets' etc.)...
There ya go.
Appears to be all the stuff that gets uploaded here
GAD! I never knew any of that existed!
