The whole soundtrack album has great new and old Christmas Songs. We watch this movie at the beginning of every Christmas season. Then we listen to the album as we decorate the tree and wish for a train Santa will put under it this year.

Silent Night and Adeste Fideles by far are the principal Christmas music hymns because they commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. However, I like all other joyful Christmas music, but these are second to Silent Night and Adeste Fideles.

I made it to see TSO for my very fist time this past Thursday night. My gosh, it was the most spectacular show ive ever seen. I cant even explain it. You could tell that these guys were not just out there going through the motions. The sounds was excelent. The visual presentation was mind blowing with lazers and lights and pyrotechnics timed perfectly. If anyone has the chance to see these guys its a must.

And the way the told the story the first half of the show..... it just really gets the Christmas spirit up adn going. Heres some fun for you guys that may not have any clue what Im talking about when i tell you the presentation is excelent!

By the way:  Both the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas shows are spectacular.  I have been to both several times over the years, and I highly recommend either or both if they perform in your area.

Hands down the Christmas Song. All versions of which there are hundreds. It always stops me in my tracks and makes me reflect.

Believe -- Josh Groban (Love the melody to this song and love hearing the theme throughout the Polar Express movie in various forms.  The music is one of the big appeals of the movie to me).

 

Mannheim Steamroller -- Stille Nacht (Silent Night).  They capture the essence of this song like none other.  They nailed it spot on.  Brings me to tears.

What about a little HO,HO, (Gary) Hoey? 

 

 

 

There are so many great Christmas songs, that I cannot in all honesty pick any single one.

 

But, to my mind, any song that can help to bring family and friends together to share a common memory of love and happiness, is one that will be a favourite to them. 

I don't know if anyone has yet mentioned Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming, but here it is for something completely different.
