Wow, I can't believe nobody suggested THE CHRISTMAS SONG of train fans:

THE POLAR EXPRESS

The whole soundtrack album has great new and old Christmas Songs. We watch this movie at the beginning of every Christmas season. Then we listen to the album as we decorate the tree and wish for a train Santa will put under it this year.

Happy Holidays all. I can't wait to show you guys what Santa has for us this year.

Indeed!

I made it to see TSO for my very fist time this past Thursday night. My gosh, it was the most spectacular show ive ever seen. I cant even explain it. You could tell that these guys were not just out there going through the motions. The sounds was excelent. The visual presentation was mind blowing with lazers and lights and pyrotechnics timed perfectly. If anyone has the chance to see these guys its a must.

And the way the told the story the first half of the show..... it just really gets the Christmas spirit up adn going. Heres some fun for you guys that may not have any clue what Im talking about when i tell you the presentation is excelent!

Not really a Christmas song, but a better quality video than most on the tube. This is actually recorded at the show i was at on Thursday.

Funny, as I recall.

One of my (humorous) favorites!

By the way:  Both the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas shows are spectacular.  I have been to both several times over the years, and I highly recommend either or both if they perform in your area.

lets get through thanksgiving first people.-jim

So, you have a problem with having a little Christmas spirit now?  Now, on the other hand, if you know of any Thanksgiving train songs, please enlighten us so we can listen to them, too.

Now, as for Christmas train songs, how about "The Polar Express" (the Gaylords version).

Driving Home For Christmas -- Chris Rea

Believe -- Josh Groban (Love the melody to this song and love hearing the theme throughout the Polar Express movie in various forms.  The music is one of the big appeals of the movie to me).

Mannheim Steamroller -- Stille Nacht (Silent Night).  They capture the essence of this song like none other.  They nailed it spot on.  Brings me to tears.
