I have memories from years ago of walking into the Yellow hall, turning right and heading to the end of the grandstand. There was a vendor selling animated scenes for layouts. I was fairly young so I don't remember them all. I do remember a backhoe digging a grave, maybe a playground scene and Ferris wheel. I haven't given it much thought the past few years of attending York , but I will be starting layout construction later this year and checking out all this new stuff just reminded me of it. Anybody know who that vendor was? Where they are from? Or if they are still in business?

I vaguely remember that vender, I believe it was a husband and wife team from Lumberton/ Mount Laurel N.J area. I want to say that the name of their business was Willard Industries, but I'm not sure . I remember that they had a lot of animated scenes that you could plug right into your layout . Backhoes , welders , road pavers , ect. I have not seen them at York in a while , but I may be just missing them .Hopefully , some one with a better memory will chime in .
Here is Willard Animations' website.
WOW!
