Only heard about re-release for MTH R-40 GOH's. Not sure what's going on with any other subway sets. 142's would be great to see again!
I agree a R142A would be awesome. I was also thinking about a Post GOH R32 since it is going to be retired soon.
Subway news for 2022 is that there will be an additional 1,601 stores closed this year leaving 22,201 remaining.

A friend who models transit buses pulled off a nice R-32 GOH rendition - see middle. R-32 renditions.

It's all up to what is left of MTH for now but having a good insight into the who is running things at the model train companies I would not expect any for quite a while.
