Battery for MTH | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Will a 9 volt NIMH rechargable replace the MTH 8.4 volt MTH battery?
Can I recharge the MTH battery with a standard 9 volt NIMH recharger?

I bought a duracell 9 volt bat. and was working fine.

May I suggest an MTH battery (the green one) from an authorized MTH dealer?
Otherwise a rechargeable that matches voltages would due.
Also ... the is a wonderful alturnative called a "BCR" which permantly replaces the battery. See you over on the MTH PS-2 forum!
