Afternoon guys, picked this up from Forum member FarmerJohn! This thing is a beauty and heaver then one would think, but it runs great and sounds outstanding! Thanks Johnny!
The 844 looks great on your layout, Mike!!!!

I read this quickly, missing that it was a repost and thought, Man, how did Bob get that beast to run on o27 curves, LOL! Nice engine, Mike. Enjoy!
Thanks guys, I am not great at videos, but I will do my best to get one for you in the next half hour!
It runs great, Mike! It sure looks good on your nice wide curves!

Beautiful engine Mike. I’m sure you will really enjoy running it. But I can tell you from long experience... steam is definitely the slipperiest of slopes

Thanks Mark, I really love the engine! But here is some advice to guys and gals building their layouts. When building think about the biggest engine you might even think about buying while building and not just building it for the engines you have already! I had to remove part of the tunnel porthole coming out of a curve because of the long overhang. I am lucky enough that everything else along my 072 curves has plenty of room to prevent hitting with the overhang.

Maybe so Paul, but if so it is going to have to wait for a while as I have to save up for the rest of my needed MTH Scale Trak if I can find it! LOL
Mike, yes, I should have squeezed 072 curves onto my layout, although it would have been two semicircles with short straights in between.
Paul is right about the slippery slope. I have 8 steam engines and would like a couple more.

I’d be more than happy to recommend a couple of small steamers that would easily pass through your pike, Mark

As a general rule of thumb, when you get to 20 or further and the local railroad wants to lease your locomotives, you've gone a tad too far!

I’m sure you would be happy to help out, Paul! 😄

Well, I do just have 20 total, Tom! So I should be expecting a call from the Buffalo and Pittsburgh shop down in the holluh at any time. 😄
Mike,
Great job on the videos. I enjoyed seeing more of your layout and I'm always on the lookout for new ideas. I like what you did with the raised city. I'm thinking of doing something similar but have a lot less real estate.

Well, Tom... looks like I’m totally beyond hope!!! I just checked my LCS App inventory and it looks like I have (TMCC and Legacy):
24 Steamers (I do actually plan on selling 2 old CCII engines in the near future - Oh the horror!!!)
3 Diesel Switchers
5 Electrics
41 Diesels
1 Acela
and a Partridge In a Pear Tree

Paul, please educate an old hillbilly. What are CCII steamers, a railroad I don’t know of???

Mea Culpa, Mark... that’s the abbreviation for the Lionel Century Club II.

Problem??? Who mentioned a problem??? 🤣🤣🤣
Well, after years of looking, I finally purchased something I've been wanting for years. I picked up this beauty of a 736 Saturday, for 120. I also picked up a 242, a 635 ( which had a crack in the screw hole, as common, but I repaired it as soon as I got it home, and unless you look closer you'd never notice it,) and a 634 body, as well as a modern search light car.

Thanks for the nice comments, guys!
CA John, I got the idea from ScoutingDad. You don't need a lot of property, just make it what you want it to be and have fun!
Got my crimp tool for the JST connectors. Just in time too. I just ordered the ERR boards from GRJ for my F3's.

Picked up this PS3 RF&P Imperial Berkshire at the VTCA Holiday Show. It was the first train event I've been to in two years, had a great time meeting the River City 3 Railers and seeing their club in operation.

An MTH Alaskan Sea Otters Aquarium Car, this is the 4th aquarium car I've owned and unsurprisingly they're extremely popular at train shows. Since my club's big 7 week greenhouse show is coming up I figured it would be a good addition to my fleet.

Patrick B. Great car. Nice find.

Steve, I thought this was a post delivery photo and you already got your hands on this one.
Mike G nice videos of a great looking engine. It looks great on your layout. You've done a great job on the design. Is that a new plane on your runway?
Kent, my foray into this hobby all started with a 242 with a whistling tender, that ws our childhood train around the Christmas Tree.
My wife and I went back to Lawn-guy-land for Thanksgiving with the kids. I got a chance to visit Trainland and Nassau Hobby.
I left $300 at Trainland.
Even though I've already got a PRR WbB 44 tonner I couldn't leave the CN version there for $129. I became aware of the Wings of Angels cars looking for Air Force items since my daughter was in the USAF, when I saw Jessie, my daughter's name, on this one it had to come home too. Especially since it was $10-$15 less than prices for WOA cars on eBay. The other three items will be put to good use also.

Definitely a cool item. I love watching the guys moving inside and the weather vane spin. My friend Jack has this on his post war layout.
