Nice looking Ride there Dave, wish I had one, but I know that's beyond the wife saying go! LOL
Lee,
Congratulations on your marriage!

Matt,
Here's hoping that one day you will be able to pull your head out of your butt!

Thanks. 17 years on the 27th and I wouldn't trade a day of it for anything.
42 years and I have everything that is important to me in my family, our kids and grandkids,,, and my college sweetheart, we don't ride motorcycle anymore, her back can't take it like when we were young... now we ride trains because doing "With" is the Key! <salute> Riding a bike alone is, well, not "it" lol
Last cool thing I bought was a ZW-L last week!! Got a really good deal from a forum member who is switching to HO.... and my wife of 40 or so years couldn't care less...when it comes to trains or guns she knows if I want it I'm going to get it... it doesn't hurt that I NEVER say anything when she wants to spend on something.
Picked up from nassau Hobby two more cars for my NS First Responder train. I got an 8000 gallon tanker and plug door 50 ft box car. Waiting on a few more cars to finish it. VBg

I agree! I never complain about anything my wife buys. She has good judgement and evidently thinks I do too.

How did you pull off that subterfuge?

Congratulations again, Lee!!
In the morning I will be placing my pre order for only my 2nd premier engine MTH's VO-1000 from Mario's Trains. I like the switcher engines and want to do a bunch of switching instead of just round and round a loop this was a good choice for me not having tons of real estate. Recently I just recieved the B unit for my MTH Railking PA AA set purchased at York from Trainworld.
I bought a Lionel Post War Celebration Series Central New Jersey FM Train master. It runs and looks good but I need to take care of a few issues. The axles feel a little dry, what is recommended to lube them? The railsonds sound good for a loco of this vintage but I think there is a battery in there somewhere to replace. I'll work on that one. The last mystery is the switches. Under the loco I found the volume pot with a switch on either side. One of them is for the sound and I don't know what the other is. Is it the program switch?
Overal should be a fun loco and I like diesels.
Frank
Mark, I have an earlier version (PS2) of the MTH VO-1000. Nice engine. You'll enjoy yours when it arrives.

Lee, congratulations again. Glad you were published. Many more will enjoy your layout. I have enjoyed following your construction of the layout and the pics during and after. I made one of your pics my desk top so I can enjoy it without looking for it...................Paul

Mark, you will like them.
Mine, albeit Rail King Scale (100 and some less) are in center of picture.
The VO1000's had both two-stacks and four-stacks. MTH did not only match the number of stacks to the road but also to the road-number.

I just got in a powered Lionel RDC-4 #8766... RDC's are after my modeled period, but the last, still?, running "gas electric". How long in inches and fractions are O SCALE RDC's? (Prototype scale length?)
Purchased a MTH Nickel Plate Road #555000, NS Heritage caboose from a forum member to go with my NPR Heritage Diesel. Looks great.
I didn't buy this one but I was taken to dinner last night for my birthday at the St Paul Grill. The only thing better than the food was the company.

Thanks Larry, this is from MTH, like the Reading T-1 I posted a week or so earlier. They are fantastic looking and operating locomotives.
I really like the Reading T-1's and Western Maryland H-9's by MTH. My goal is to one day have one of each of the road numbers done for both classes in PS2 and PS3.
Matt, Happy BD
A very big MTH PS-2 challenger (G). Brand new old stock. Right out of a display case.
My 1st G steamer

PS I GOT to figure out how to make this baby a Clinchfield. lol

Looks great, Larry!!
Thanks Larry, it truly was a very happy birthday. Nice loco, every time I see one of those big G steamers I really want to get into G but then I decide its better to stay in the three scales I'm already in.
Just got this stuff from Scenic Express today. The small trees were on sale this month. I think this was a somewhat new product. Pic...........Paul
