A train just rolled through town headed by two all black BC Rail #4646 & #4653. Had yellow stripes on the nose slanted one way, right side high. Same engine type as the blue one I believe. I've got to remember my camera. There is a lot of good train action here. The tracks are right next to Cedar Lake, which has a really nice park and beach. You can watch trains all morning while fishing.
That's awesome Pops. Thanks for sharing. You are making me want to get out my tent and camp out by the tracks with my camera.
William, The CN and it's fallen flags have some beautiful areas to run through. I can't resist sharing the beauty on here. I really like the pictures made in the Jasper area, but even the onds in Iowa are very nice also. I think the tent would be good now in the higher elevations so that it would be a little cooler.
Working on another Diesal shop. This next one is for todays modern Diesals and will be 12 stalls wide and 3 diesals deep on each track with a High Crane Bay over 5 of the stalls. Just took a break and need to get back after it.
Bill, if you go to NYC or the likes, you'll see how they cram some buildings in!! I'm sure it will look great, like the rest of your buildings.
Here's a pic of that G scale cab:
Looking at the details in your pics, maybe I should have taken up the offer to have it come already painted!!!

Joe, I have seen a lot of tight building conditions. I just want the layout to look good. I am not a nut and bolt counter BUT I do like things to look nice. Your Diesal Shop has nice clean lines and looks VERY NICE.
I am hoping you continue to post pictures of your Engine project. I think that is a cool project you are doing.
Why do I always get side tracked?
I'm jumping back to the Ace G scale project. While cutting it, I'm making a 89.5' flat too. Now if I could just finish one of them.....

Joe would the flat car be an easier project to finish?
