Here are some photos of the former BN executive units BN-1, BN-2 and BN-3 taken out at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL this past weekend at their annual "Diesel Days".

Yeah I would Joe, they're a bit "worn" now but still one of my favorites.
Have always liked these locomotives, in the "coal country" paint scheme. Happened to stop by the Eola (IL) BN yard some 15 years ago, and all 3 of these locomotives were being hostled around. In perfect condition! Presume they traveled up the West Chicago branch, interchanged with the C&NW/UP for a trip up the Freeport Line and to their eventual home at IRM.
I would have liked to have seen that, it's a shame they are in the condition they are in now. But if money was no object then everything would be stored in a barn when not in use.
