I bought an Atlas Trainman 4750 Covered hopper without trucks (yes, I knew I was getting this without trucks). I also bought a set of three rail Atlas 66034 70-ton roller bearing trucks that I thought would fit but the posts on the hopper are too big around and won't fit in the hole of the trucks. Can anyone suggest a truck that would fit with this car?

Make sure that there is not just excessive paint coating the truck mount. I had a set of Atlas Bettendorfs that would NOT fit my scale reefer. Turns out that the factory had "over painted" them, according to Atlas. After reaming slightly with a drill bit, they fit perfectly.

I just looked up the 4750 hopper on Atlas' website and it says that this particular car uses the 100-ton roller bearing trucks and I got the 70-ton roller bearing trucks. I just went on Ebay and purchased a set of 100-ton roller bearing trucks. Hopefully that will work and if it doesn't, I will do what you suggested and maybe make the post smaller in circumference so that it will fit.
All the newer trucks being made by Atlas O are like this. You need to drill the hole out just a bit more to fit. Do not think it’s the wrong truck, as atlas o has a new supplier of these and the holes are smaller. FYI
