Anybody on this 'Real Trains' forum from NE FLA in the 50's and 60's and remembers and rode on the 'Little Train' in Mandarin below Jacksonville. I believe it was 2 1/2 scale, might have been 15" track gauge, all my photos of that were lost long ago. Mandarin was nothing but orange groves and old Florida then, the first sign of life was a Winn Dixie that was built and the train owner put in a crossing with lights at the entrance to the parking lot, where before it was just live oaks, pines, moss and Spanish bayonets.
