Hello everyone, I'm new here but recently become interested in model trains and have started a small Lionel collection. Anyways, I recently acquired this USTTC BA Bart train. From the research I have done, these seem to be extremely rare and valuable. My original plan was to sell it now I may keep it for display purposes, although everything for sale if the price is right. Does anyone know the going value for one of these. This one is in excellent condition and everything works as it should too.20220302_214603

Dick Meyer owner of Rich-Art in San Diego made these. These had a reused Marx power unit and ran on prewar American Flyer trucks. Te decoration was a sticker stripe and they were offered in BART as well as DC Metro. The DC cars had a different cast resin front section and they have extruded aluminum shells. I have a few unused shells that Dick or Butch Alvarado gave me after I did some casting work for thier Toonerville Trolleys.
