Hey Patrick, I always enlarge your pictures, because your attention to detail is awesome, and there he was between the uncoupled cars.
Morning guys, what great photos and stories to go along with them!
Pat, Ted and Curt you guys are really turning this page into a fun place to come and visit and relax! I am sorry I have nothing for you as the CEO has been keeping me busy!
I hope you all have a great week!

John, the grocery clerk at Bob’s Country Store, is having a great day so far with the fresh produce sale. The young blond girl he is waiting on has been one of a dozen great customers so far. Unfortunately, his morning is about to change. On his left and out of his eyesight, they like to sneak up on you, comes Bulah Ballbreaker, the customer from ****. She will squeeze everything, complain about everything, try to make him look stupid, then either walk away without purchasing or buy a quarter of a pound of something. Doesn’t matter, because she will have succeeded in raising John’s blood pressure and ruining his day and she will go home happy.

FOR TODAY: It's Monday morning and Chucky, whose days are numbered before returning to school, is exploring along the tracks in back o town.
Climbing over a scrap pile Chucky discovers these men unloading pumps. Chucky thinks to himself .. "Those pumps must be for the new water treatment plant being built over near the reservoir."
Finally Chucky has made it to the top of the pile and has this view.
"Whew! They are some really big and heavy pumps!" ... Chucky mumbles under his breath.
"Hmmm. Looks a like some sort of boss walking over on the other side of the boxcar. Better git out of here before I get in trouble!" Chucky thinks to himself as he scrambles back over the pile to make his exit. Now if he can only remember where he left his bike?!

Curt, great story at the open market and the costumer from ****! LOL I also like the Emilio's scene! Your attention to detail never ends.
Patrick, Chucky deserves to get so close as it seems like he has been spending all summer there! I love the story about Clancy!
Mark, wonderful start on your scenery with the wonderful steam engines!

Thanks Mike that mold pin has always bothered me
No problem good place for trucking company logo!
The mechanics in the High Bank Creek Engine Shop are checking out the brand new GP38 that just came in. They are wondering how many cars they can pull with the EMD 2,000 HP diesel.Meanwhile the guys out in the yard are welding up some equipment to attach to the new diesel for specific jobs they will use it for. The engineer and conductor are sitting on the benches trying to hurry the work, so they can get the new diesel out and play, oops, I mean get to work.

Great shots, Curt!
Curt - I like your High Bank Shop!! Did you build it?
FOR TODAY: Although the hot August sun is reigning supreme, the local fuel oil dealer is stocking up on its' heating oil supply now. This tank truck is shuttling oil, two thousand gallons at at time, from these tank cars to the company's storage tanks a few miles away. Buford and J.D. monitor the transfer process as truck driver Otto, standing at the front of the truck, twiddles his thumbs.

Hey Patrick, yes, I built it from scratch. I plan on putting roof ventilators on it and I need to put some black paper behind the brick. Notice how the interior lights shine thru the brick on the end wall. Those Woodland Scenic lights are bright. Curt

NICE COLLECTION OF MOTIVE POWER PAUL'.... 👍
Curt, outstanding work on the Engine service house! looks great with everyone doing something!
Patrick, sure is a smart thing to get the oil while they can as you never know if there is going be a shortage. I do have to say that Otto sure is one busy man, first hauling oil and then cargo trucks. He must be one top notch driver and in very high demand!
Lee, Buzz sure is working his rear off! He must be a little on the short side as I don't see in or near the engine!
Paul, Nice to see the guys finely working at the yard! I think last time I seen them they were at the Chevy dealer looking to my a new 55, I am pretty sure I see one of there mustangs there for trade in!
Great looking Pete, did you buy or build?
Great work and stories everyone! I love all that you guys put into this page as it gives guys like me a chance to escape from the real world for a few minutes!
How can I say it any better than Mike did?!
Great photographs, Curt, Patrick, Lee, Pete, Paul.
Mike, It is a real escape from between doctor appointments today! 👍🏻 Hopefully I can get some layout time soon.
A lot going on at the H & H feed store this morning. Brothers, Henry and Harold Hoyt, are partners in the thriving business. Harold is outside talking to Duane Jones (red Chevy stake bed truck), a local farmer and good customer. Duane is complaining about the low price on a bushel of wheat. He says it costs him more to grow it than he can get for it. Being good friends also, Harold tells Duane if he can just sit on his wheat for a couple of more months the Russian wheat sell deal should go thru and the price will jump quite a bit. Duane appreciates the inside information and thanks Harold. Another customer is unloading his shelled corn at the grain silos. (I used real corn meal in the wagon).

Ted, I guess you are going to have to get more Cab's! LOL
Curt, love the story, I grew up with a Hoyt here in Washington State. I really like the photo of the real farm. I would love to live somewhere like that but lease the land to a famer!
Mike, on the list...I just can't remember what dealership I used....

Great grain pic Curt now you need to add a overhead hoist to raise the wagon.
Ted, that cab is a beauty!
Curt, your father-in-laws farm is beautiful. Your layout scene and story is great!
Yeah, Lee, I know or a gravity feed wagon. The Co-op in our little town had a platform under the equipment unloading and had the hoist hooked to the front of the platform and lifted the whole platform on an angle. Where is my old erector set? curt
Thanks, Mark.
@mike g. posted:You mean something like this? I built this for BrianSilvermustang! I havent seen him here is a long time, I might have to try and call him.
