Yes, Gargraves.
These two arrived today. The coal dump car should be here by tomorrow. Williams by Bachmann operating cars. No OCS or UCS need apply. The hand held transmitter does all the work, anywhere on the layout !
EDIT: Had to send the full length dome back. Posted a WTB for a LIONEL 6-19128, a 15" polished aluminum Santa Fe full length come, without an interior.
Buy anything "cool" must include the stuff that goes into "cool" for me. Cool will be making a Texas Special train from Santa Fe polished aluminum cars. The cars I now have, but I also have:
Not pictured here, but previously posted, are the MOLOTOW liquid chrome that will replicate the stainless trim on the cars, and the Texas Special plaques from LIONEL parts department that will go on the cars.
I lucked out. I was on the bay at the right time and I was able to get another Weaver TOFC flat car. This one wa on my hard to find list. Pic............Paul
Fulgurex: St Gotthard 1 gauge steam engine. Only 35 hand made, all brass and their first Gauge 1 engine with smoke ( has sound and lights, etc.). Blueish Grey and black livery. Think its the 1910 version, all Era 1
Think this is a four cylinder version
According to where I purchased this, it will be there LAST Gauge 1 one engine produced by Fulgurex. Will concentrate on HO and N. Made to commemorate the completion of the new Swiss St. Gotthard tunnel, the longest under ground tunnel in the world (35 miles+ long).
Went to the Snow Dogs S gauge show in Parma today and came home with this for 10 dollars. Pic.......Paul
Wow, some great pictures above and some Great finds. My RJ Corman SD40-2 finally arrived and worked out of the box, and my dealer checked it out before I picked it up. The Caboose however, needs to have the brakeman re-positioned. He’s on the floor.....Must have had a real quick stop......It’s gonna be Ok...

Very nice!! Where'd you find them??
Bought MTH 30-73302 Hawaiin Kona Coffee Smoking Tank Car on Friday. Have been scouring the internet, using saved searches on auction sites, forum WTB, and looking for this at swap meets and train shows for better part of 2 years. On Friday, out of the blue, I decided to go to the MTH product search page and Find It Locally tab and it showed up in Train Loft's (Winston-Salem) inventory. Called and spoke with Jeff and he shipped it out same day. Already have a string of these smoking tank cars so happy to add to the consist!
I don't have a lot of want to buy items on a list, but I have been hunting for this and the original Christmas ES44AC (forum member came through on this one) without any luck and found them both in the last 30 days. The small wonders in life bring a lot of joy!
Someone asked where I found this Legacy RJ Corman Diesel, BTO.....Almost 2 years ago seems like, and here it is just after the Christmas Season and tons of BTO items are arriving.....I am pleased with the engine as it’s Legacy and Blue Tooth compatible. Do to Living in Clarksville Tennessee, the RJ Corman railroad delivers goods in my city....Happy Railroading...
Nice seeing a bit of newly acquired prewar on here. I have a few Lionel engines 96 years old and with a drop of oil and a spot of new synthetic grease, they run as smoothly as can be.
Good looking engine !!!)) Colors look great.
You’re right Dennis, that is cool
That’s a great deal, Mike! My wife’s second favorite store. Her favorite is St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, which is probably her favorite because it is closer! LOL

Hey Mark, your wife has great taste! I love St. Vincent's also, just don't have one near us anymore!
No photos yet as they haven’t arrived, but I picked up a Bowser PRR caboose and some Kadees for my Atlas O C630. The caboose will be matched with my PRR J1a
Got in another Matchbox 1937 lH truck . Finished one, but second lengthened for logging truck has been a pain to overpaint the factory lettering. (multiple coats and redos) . Probably do an REA one and a sugar beet hauler. These were hard to find, but the n a few surfaced.
Yes, finally received my CXS Theater Car, and my dealer added the people to ride along.....It matches the CSX StationSounds car which arrived a few months ago...They will be pulled in a mixed passenger train with other famous named railroads like UP, Sante Fe, etc, just for Fun....Happy Railroading
I got my new Lionel UP1943 the day after Christmas, but I just now got around to opening it up. It is so beautiful and the graphics are terrific. The horn is so loud but I like it! I ordered the caboose to go with it but it has not come in yet.
That UP1943 is truly a beauty !!!! Enjoy !!!!!!!!
DELETED.

I can see why it's so loud, one of the chimes of the horn is bent down.
Shame that it came that way, but at least it's not the shell that is cracked.
Mine will be here Friday along with a bunch of HO and N scale goodies, I can’t wait. I already have the MTH Spirit of UP but the Lionel will run with my excursion stuff
I have an HO UP 1943 with a messed up truck and messed up contacts.
NS6770, who’s is it? Atheran has great customer service from my experience. If it’s an MTH, send it back and get another one
I posted about buying this product, MOLOTOW liquid chrome, a couple of weeks ago. Finally got around to spraying it and it is GREAT!!! My ability to spray it will determine how well it works in my application, but if you want simulated chrome on plastic, this is it:
There are a ton of YouTube videos on the product; check them out if you are looking for a great product:

I'm going to experiment with PSI and generally how heavy/light I apply it.
