Finally arrived while I was at Ready2Roll in Miami today, after a long time waiting. Special run for Ready2Roll and Roundhouse South in Florida. Beautiful GP9. MTH Premier 20-21545-1.
I also decided to take this Williams Burlington Route GP30 home.

Found one of these wagon tops from Weaver finally as well as a mint, unopened Lionel GP30 from 2002 to further augment my B&O collection

Nice selections. I keep my eyes open for B&O too.

GREAT Haul- awesome buys! I was there as well- it did stink that it was only half full BUT, just like you, saved money for ATMA! I assume you're into prewar/tin? Did you see that British Marx set?
I love Your soldier & associated accessory collection. I collect and use soldiers on my layout as well- inherited it from my late grandfather, whose glass cases and collection yours greatly reminds me. I like the dioramas/vignettes/scenes you've made- very neat.
Great sounds from the Y-3
Here is a locomotive I waited quite awhile to snag, but here’s Lionel’s LEGACY model of Midwest Railway Preservation Society’s current passion project - ex. Grand Trunk Western Mikado no. 4070!
Purchased from Rider’s Hobby in Flint, Michigan. This is the one with whistle steam and Bluetooth.
And to complete this locomotive are these scale heavyweight passenger cars in Nickel Plate Road and Baltimore & Ohio markings (also from Lionel). These were purchased at TrainWorld for an incredible price for all six.
Overall, a stellar train that I’m glad I got. Performs excellently, looks superb, and I love the sounds. I can’t wait to see the 4070 back in action again (whenever that’ll be).
Just bought what I think is cool, an OLD Lionel early TMCC Yellow C&O Hudson in streamline. Just waiting for delivery. Supposedly true NOS, never out of shipping container. We'll see soon! Pictures will follow after arrival of as advertised sale item.
I want to put Legacy electronics in this. Can anyone advise where or how I might purchase a complete set of Legacy electronics to populate this engine with? I'll settle for ERR if I have too. Also looking for any recommendations on a replacement can motor to replace the Pullmore. Cruise works better with the DC motor.

I would try 3rd rail they are the experts.
Nice set of cars you have with 4070 there, @Mikado 4501. I need to get some Nickel Plate heavy weights to go with mine some day.

Thanks for the kind words . I was bitten by the Standard Gauge bug after collecting a sizable amount of O gauge . Soon after I started collecting BarclayManoil figures to go along with the trains which lead into collecting BarclayManoil WW2 Doughboys . I did not see the Marx set you mentioned, hopefully someone went home with it .
As for my glass display case, it’s way too small . I can only display 1/4 of my collection, all the other soldiers are in boxes .
JohnnieWalker, What a beautiful collection and display! I, too, love those Barclay/Manoil figures, especially the WWII soldiers. I can remember playing with them when I was a little boy, and now when I hold one in my hands, it brings back lots of memories. I only have a handful of them, but I admire your collection and would love to see more of it.

Again , thanks for the kind words , it makes collecting them all the more better . I do have to make a correction, they are WW1 Doughboys not WW2 . I prefer the WW1 because my grandfather fought in it and Dad was in the Korean War . And thanks to my dad for giving me the train bug !! He worked for the New York Central, PennCentral and ConRail . Here is a photo of a WW1 tank I scratch built out of wood . Like my tin plate trains this is just a representation of a real tank . The photo behind the tank is my grandfather who fought in WW1 . He’s wearing his fighting kilt , being he was from Glasgow Scotland at the time .
JohnnieWalker, Great job on that tank. Looks pretty authentic to me. Sure goes well with your display. Rightly proud of your family's service. I had a couple of uncles who fought in WWI and some cousins in WWII. I have a correction also. I prefer the doughboys too. Thanks for the photo, beautiful collection.

Try Timco Repair Depot for the pullmore replacement.
If they can't help then Pat @harmonyards is the resident expert on pittman motor installs.
Thanks for the tips. I have heard of Timko. Wrote them an email to check them out!
I just picked up the MTH Premier Line Pennsylvania P5-A 20-5741 and the Schmidt's Beer Reefer that just came out this week from Just Trains in Delaware. Both look very sharp.
Great finds fellows, while in Atlanta over the weekend, we stopped by LegacyStation just to visit friends, and while there, Brian the owner, was unpacking a large shipment of MTH Military train cars, desert storm models, and world war 2 models, so, my wife bought me a beautiful tank car. Hopefully I can add more military cars to my Fleet. Happy Railroading Everyone
Had a great day today at the Great Midwest Train show. Picked up something I've dreamed of owning since I was younger.
Simply put, a great addition to my (in progress) layout! MTH Freedom Train GS4 with the 5 car set, 2 car dining and cafe car add on, and vista dome add on!

Nice looking tank car Larry. That building looks pretty special too.
Really cool looking and high in detail. Great find. I have a friend in Germany that is a artist and he painted a Marklin set for me with 12 flat cars carrying Tiger Tanks and Elephant tanks. He is making me a Gustuv Cannon using to flat bed cars.

Really clean and sharp looking .
Very nice Larry. Not the type of tank car I was expecting.
Didn't buy it, friend of mine gave me a Lionel transformer from the 1920's (have to admit it is awesome looking) that had been his dad's, that I can use as a display item with the standard gauge engine I brought on a while at York (C1925). No, not planning on using it, the cord is original *lol*, strictly display.
Went to the local trainshop for some BCR units, but I ended up walking out with more than I came in for as usual. Picked up this set of freight cars for my AFT GS4 that I posted about yesterday.
A.J. That looks real sweet. It appears that the other members of your fleet are looking on approvingly.

Did these come with the Egyptian items on them or did you add them after purchasing?
For paulp575
Everything you see (above) was added by me during the kit bashing process. From my interest in toy trains and history, it is quite fun to create something unique.

Appreciate the response.
That's quite a skill.
I have a love for Egypt and was hoping it was something bought, but had never seen anything with Egypt on it.

I had the opportunity to work on one of these for my guy Charlie at VFM.......absolutely beautiful piece.
I purchased a Lionel NYC PA AA set a while back, but I didn't have any passenger cars to go with them. Over the last couple of weeks I have picked up a Lionel NYC RPO car, a Lionel NYC 60' baggage car and two Lionel Pullman Pool Service sleeper cars. I couldn't be happier with the way they look behind the PA AA set.

NS1975, those are all scale 16 1/4" passenger cars. It's hard to tell in a photo sometimes. Most of these passenger cars were offered in Lionel semi scale too. :-) Very nice find!
