I was on the phone with a forum member earlier to day and was talking about the possibilities of swapping the shells from my Weaver NP RS 11 to Lionel SP RS 11 Chassis. Must of been a sign. While at the park with my kids I discovered a Lionel NP RS 11 had just been posted on the bay. Pulled the trigger and bought it. Been looking for this for a while now. Ok cool for me.

I've been contemplating buy this WbB GN SD-45 since it was made by Williams Reproductions and finally pulled the trigger.  I had more than enough GN engines especially once I bought the WbB GP-30. And I was holding out hope someone would finally put out a GN engine in the BSB paint scheme.camera download 051416 245camera download 051416 243camera download 051416 244

I apologize for the lighting of the photos.

P51, thank you for showing the front of your new book, The Franklin and South Manchester Railroad, as its one of the best HO model railroads ever built. I have the videos of this layout and George Sellios is truly a 3D Artist.  I would love to see this layout in person.  Although I am not into HO, I admire this mans attention to fine detail, a very Realistic mind for a builder of a truly scenic detailed model railroad.  I think his work is better than the Late John Allen's "Gorre & Daphatid" model railroad of the 1950's....Happy Railroading...

Well when it rains it pours. Budget for the month completely shot to pieces.  Just picked up another CB&Q/C&S SD40 from Dave Ripp.

and this arrive yesterday Red caboose CB&Q GP9. Current plan is to swap shell onto another frame and upgrade to PS2/3 or EER and yes in the background in the process of Kadee install of Atlas SD40.  Ok cool for me but not my wallet.

Very nice Buy! I take it you switch everything to Kadee?  I really like the looks of them with Kadee!

I've been watching for a 6418/6518 car for a while now. I liked the 6518 more, but always thought the transformer looked too small of a load for the size of the car, so I had hoped to find a car without the load, but no luck.Been watching this one on Craigslist all summer, and finally went for it. Came today, beautiful box, only missing one inner flap, with a price of $7.95 from a store in Altoona.Someone had painted the top of the car brown and added Pennsylvania decals, which works for me.Of course the insulaters are broke. For the time being, and until I get around to finishing the model, I found a load worthy of the car.

I got in the last Marx #999 chassis I'll probably need for three projects, the first begun but stalled due to some bug, and holiday decorating, That steam inspection coach has shape but l have faint hope that the steam coach and 2-4-4-2 will be available commercially, so those two still await a kitbash. Also, the last of available Graham auto models, one for 1937, was recently released.  Several other interesting orphans, pre-1940, are in the pipeline, but not inexpensive, including a 1937 Studebaker Decatur.
