Converting MTH Rail king GS-4 PROTO 2 to ERR Cruise Commander

My question concerns the smoke unit and its correct wiring into the ERR Cruise Commander. The MTH Proto smoke unit is fan drive with a DC micro-motor wired directly through the PS 2-3V board and the smoke unit element is also wired into the PS 2-3V Board. Looking for some help before destroying the ERR Cruise Commander

Well, you need to swap out the two 16 ohm resistors for one 20 ohm resistor. The original resistors will toast the triac on the R2LC. You also need to come up with a 5VDC power source for the fan.
