I have two remote commander systems that do not operate any equipment. When powered and connected to the track, the green pilot light does flash on both units when a button on the handhelds is depressed. Are they repairable? Any user replaceable parts inside the enclosers?

Do you have your engine set to factory setting. If not they will not run your engine.

Not sure if this will help but when I first set mine up I had the DCS/DCC switch on my PS3 engine in the DCC position which prevented the loco from working. Also the locos must be reset to factory default to work with the remote commander. Lastly I found that after doucle checking my spade lugs were properly seated on the base ensured I had no problems.

When power is first applied are the engines quiet (in shutdown) or do they start up with lights and sounds? If they are quiet (except for a faint relay click if a PS2 engine) that's a good sign that you need to factory reset the engines as mentioned above.
