Suggestions for Accessory Buss Connectors Wanted

gunrunnerjohn put me on to these, machined headers that you can snap off to get the number of connectors that you need. Get both the male and female on the auction site. I used the seller in NY, I didn't want to wait for the Asian sellers, but they are ok, too.

I'm probably missing your point, but I don't see how those machined heads solve the problem. 

And I probably wasn't very clear with what I need.  I have some very small wires (30 AVG) that I want to connect to a buss in such a way that I can quickly and easily disconnect them.  See diagram below.

The wires are too delicate for a normal barrier type terminal strip.  The Euro style terminal strips don't allow me to jumper them easily.  So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for miniature types of connectors that would accommodate this type of arrangement.

If these are stranded wire, I don't see any reason you can't use the machine headers and pins for them, I've used them for that size wire.

The strips are snapable and can be made (broken or snapped) into a two contact male and female connector. Wire one from the buss and the other from the accessory. Then you have a quick disconnect plug and socket.

Sorry, I was looking at the wrong end of the problem. The first was to provide a quick disconnect at the accessory end.

This model Molex connector is available with pins for wires sizes from 14awg to 30awg.

The connector housing and pin size are standard, with the wire size end attaching to it available in 14-30.

That should let you build a QD from the buss to the #30 accessory wire.

Now, to find it where you don't have to buy a 1000 pcs.

There are a lot of smaller connectors, including Molex brand.  Digikey or Mouser has thousands of connectors in stock.
