Would it be reasonable to provide power from a Powermaster 180 connected to a terminal block using 14AWG wire and then running a 14AWG feeder to 4 16AWG legs connected via suitcase connectors to the 4 command switches in this temporary Christmas 072 layout? Or should I consider different drops?

If this is an OK idea, do I simply connect each leg to the AUX GND and AUX IN with the jumper staying in place to power the entire track with the drops?

NOT  a good idea with FasTrack... for 022/711 and K-Line switches this is fine and is a sound method.

The wiring in the FasTrack switches is of a very small gauge and cannot handle the current of the operating trains... it will melt and cause damage.
