I have been meaning to ask when Lionel added the ENG 99 'all' command to the newer Legacy engines. When I had the D3R guys over last weekend I discovered this feature when trying to line up my TMCC controlled turntable for a guest's MR 261. My Geeps don't respond to it and the only reference I've seen is in some locomotive owner's manuals for that I downloaded from Lionel's site.

Yeah my newer Legacy respond. The GPs don't. Neither do the Santa Fe F3s that I got last year.

Didn't Jon say it was the Vision Line engines and cars that responded to Eng 99?
Anything made in the past catalog or so should respond to 99 as well. ID 99 is hard coded to all recent engines and Legacy operating cars. So along with the ID you set, 99 will also respond.
Wasn't there some sort of hard reset command that used "99"?
