She's giving me the old silent treatment. After 10 years of TLC, she's done gone dumb on me. Breaking my heart. She's TMCC, all functions work great, except for no sound. Inserting a battery doesn't make a difference, I played with volume control knob, I checked the wiring and didn't see any loose wires. I will admit the TLC may have come with a fair share of derailments, shorts etc. in her 10 years of service. Could that have fried out the sound board? I always kind of wanted to change her sounds, because they are identical to her big brother parked behind her and this may be an opportunity to do so.
I'd love to figure out how to fix her myself. First problem is, how do I analyze to find the root of the problem? I may not have the right tools to be able to test what needs to be tested.
