The Union Railroad in Pittsburgh. MTH offered a diesel switcher and a caboose a few years ago, but I'd like to see more offerings.

Wow....Stratocaster chimes in for the Union RR and he's way out in Minnesota. I'll side with my new friend from the Land of Lakes for the Union....and add....The Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad. Check out the ton/mile ratio for the Bessemer....very impressive. neat thread! Tom in Picksburgh
Thanks Tom. My grandfather worked for the Union. I moved from the Pittsburgh suburbs to MN with my family back in the 70s, but my favorite roads are still from Western PA--and I'm still a Stillers fan!!

Not ignored, but as an under represented railroad, I would throw out the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O). It's disappointing that neither Lionel or MTH really seem much interested in the smaller, scale sized, B&O steam locomotives.
As an example, I was really excited to hear that Lionel was offering conventional Atlantics in the Volume 1 catalog, only to find out the B&O was not one of the roadnames offered.

I don't thik that B&O belongs this list now. Yes, it has been disappointing the between Lionel and MTH we have only been offered one run of the fabulous EM-1 (LIONEL). But 3rd Rail has been very kind to B&O modelers and I look forward to the fall release of the class T-3 Mountain.

This model will fit in nicely with my:
3rd Rail EM-1 2-8-8-4;
3rd Rail Big Six (Santa Fe type) 2-10-2;
3rd Rail class Q-4b mikado;
3rd Rail class E-24 consolidation;
K-Line class Q-3 USRA light mikado;
K-Line class P-5 USRA light Pacific;
Weaver class P-7d Cincinnatian Pacific;
Lionel class EM-1 2-8-8-4.
Yes Chessie man, I guess the others do not like money, got my T3 sitting right in front of me as I type.
Yes Third rail has been getting my money lately and they will get more of it when they announce the P7e royal blue version.
side note. when I was club President Penn Central was officially banned at AGHR.
we did not let and worms in the club. It may scare the kiddies and ladies. PC YUCK! February 1, 1968 a true day of imphame !!!
Stratocaster....if you have not already.....check out www.mercerjunction.com and look at the "custom" section of his "for sale" items. Dave is a master modeler and custom decorator. Look at those awesome switchers he's painted. I am currently painting a K-Line bay window caboose for the Union RR. I have an Atlas switcher to do next. I have the MTH version of the Union cab and switcher, but could never score the dummy unit. Tom in Picksburgh
The Oklahoma City, Ada and Atoka, hands down. It would be nice to see a Big Boy and a Full-length Dome Car for the OCA&A, even though any plans (if they had any such plans) to take delivery of these unfortunately did not pan out. During World War II, the OCA&A served Tinker Air Force Base, the largest Air Materiel command in the US. Provides the opportunity for scenery including all the WWII planes, and later planes such as the B-36 and others. There was also a one-mile long Douglas plant located there - an unusual opportunity for kit-bashing a building. The OCA&A had an earlier life as a branch of the M-K-T (Katy).
A watched clock never boils.

I have never seen one locomotive or piece of rolling stock issued in the livery of the Palatine, Lake Zurich & Wauconda Railroad, powerhouse that it once was. It must be an oversight by the train importers;...oh, yes; most assuredly.
