I have two tmcc equipped steam locos that will not go into reverse in conv mode. One is a Polar Express version 1 and the other is an upgradable Consolidation. The Polar Express utilizes the Electric Railroad TMCC board. The Consolidation utilizes the boards from Lionel.

They do run forward properly in Conventional?
Make sure the Run/Program switch is in run. This switch can work as an e-unit lockout switch if left in the program position.
Thanks Guys, Box car bill solved the problem on one of the locos. The Consolidation upgradable is from 2000. When i put the receiver in it, it was an R4. Bill suggested that I try another board. I pulled an R2 board from a K-Line PA Switcher and after re-programming the loco reverses in conv mode. The R4 board functions normally in the K-Line. I still haven't fixed the Polar Express. It's a generation 1 with a Mini Commander II. It works fine in TMCC. Thanks to all,
