Over the past two months I've created five photo albums about our track laying progress in Como, Colorado. In order to make it easier to fine these I've created this topic with links to them and for future work sessions. Here they are:

Wow! Great job!
Great news... sure would like to visit! Will there be some trains on this track soon?
As mentioned in the first link a steam locomotive will run there soon. Last I heard the engine is hoped to be unloaded on 8/10. The first public event will be Boreas Pass Railroad Day on 8/19 so if the engine is there it should at least be on display. Ideally it will be running. The next event will be the Denver National Narrow Gauge Convention which ends on Saturday 9/2. Again the hope is to have the engine running then.
They don't use tie plates on narrow gauge track?

Not back in the 1800s when this was built.
I guess I just assumed that any rebuilding would include them.

Nope. They are trying to be historically authentic, and rightly so.
If that's their reason, it's pretty neat!
How far do you plan to build this line? Seems like quite an undertaking that already has gone immense lengths.
Joe, That's a good question. The way we're laying track right now, with the number of people we have, around 20-30, allows us to slowly rebuild the yard tracks. We would like to extend to the wye which is around two miles but we would need to do something different. We are looking at options now.
Official announcement of first Como steam train in 80 years can be found here. Scroll down to see it!
