hey guys:  I have 2 types of lights to deal with.  LED and incandescent.   (I have about 9 incadescent   with multiple lights,  and maybe 5 LED converted.

1.  Incandescent:   I have a new portfolio heavy duty outdoor transformer rated at 120V. and 12V output AC.  I want to use a busbar for the distribution.  now,  do I need to use a romex 12 guage wire from the transformer to the Busbar?  and then can I use 14 guage to each building? (from the busbar.).  its not a big layout but some of the MTH buildings have a bunch of the 2-3 volt bulbs in them.  but I am not sure what each is rated (push pin type- white base).    do I need a plastic insulator in back of the busbar or can it be attached to the wood?

2.  LED:  I bought 3 walwarts-  12 volts DC 1.5amp.  I am going to use a bus bar for these also.  can I just cut off the end of the walwart and attach to the busbar?  Street lamps and some buildings are converted to LED.

any drawbacks or suggestions using the busbars?

thanks

Chris

I bought the bus bars.  So tonight I got 90% installed. Worked well.  Used 14 guage wire and had no heat issues. Nothing popped!  Lol.  It is a 120 volt transformer. So there is plenty of room.  About 4 small brownstone townhouses to light.

Then I am waiting for the wall warts to arrive.  So the led lights will have to wait until then.
