When I press the go to restricted speed button when accelerating the engine the announcement says we are at restricted speed. Should the engine reach restricted speed before the announcement? Also the engine will not move until I press the go to slow speed. Than immediately the announcement says we are at slow speed before the engine even reaches slow speed. I don't recall this working this way. Is this the correct way or is there a way I can rectify this? I don't Thanks for any help

I believe sometimes they say they're "slowing to restricted speed". Once it gets there, there is no announcement that they're at restricted speed. If I come down to it, I can get the announcement before the speed is reached, that's just the way it works. I don't think it's broken.
Yes it is correct on the slowing to restricted speed. What does your engine say when it moves from zero to restricted speed? And also does your engine start accelerating before it reaches restricted speed. Mine does not move until it reaches slow speed. Thanks
Are you saying the throttle graph moves and the engine sits there until the graph reaches the restricted speed point? This is after the cab chatter?
Yes,Press restricted speed button immediately cab chatter says we are at restricted speed . Engine does not move until graph reaches restricted speed Thanks
Well, I stuck my Legacy SW-7 on the rails, and it does something totally different, so maybe they're not consistent. It doesn't even have that cab chatter, I just get a burst of radio static when I press the speed button and it goes to the speed. The other crew-talk works normally, so I guess that's the way it is. I think you have to find someone that actually has that model and see how it acts.
ok thanks for your input
