It appears to me that if you want the upgraded features on the DCS phone app you have to pay again for each additional phone and / or tablet. Is that correct? Kinda rubs me the wrong way.

You only need to pay once per platform (Apple & Google). Any additional devices on that platform have no additional cost for the upgraded app.
OK. Im on Apple and paid the full upgrade on my phone. Have the app on my iPad and it is asking me for another $29 bucks for the full upgrade? Any tricks or hints?
When you do the upgrade, it must look up that you already paid. It won't recharge you for the same account and type. IOS vs. Android.
I'm a droid user primarily but as I understand it, if your phone and ipad use the same itunes account login, the app purchase history will sync and your ipad will have the update. That's the way it works with the Google play app store.
As said above, your devices have to use the same Apple ID (User ID). Apple thinks it is someone else if the device has a different ID.
I just went through this. Keep trying the upgrade on the second device. It will eventually recognize the premium status. I actually called MTH and the app caught up while I was on hold.
Many thanks to all. When I get hime I will delete the app from the ipad and reinstall. That should straighten it up.
I'd like to add the above is correct. However, if I understand this correctly you have to stay with the same operating system. Meaning once to make the purchase with the Apple system device you can only use your subscription with another Apple device, and like wise with androids.
Yes, that's correct. The Apple device app is one purchase and to add an Android device would be another (or 2nd) purchase.
